Lunch and Learns

The St. James EDA is kicking off a new program to assist business owners with technical assistance and other business topics. The first Lunch and Learn event is scheduled for September 21st at 12pm (noon) at the St. James City Hall – 1205 6th Ave S for a presentation and a free lunch. The first topic is on the EDA programs. EDA Director, Brianna Sanders, will present on various loan programs, demographic information, and resources that are offered through the EDA.

If you are a business owner or are thinking about starting a business, join us for a presentation during our Lunch and Learns. Lunch is free for business owners and has been funded through a Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) grant. The Lunch and Learns will be a monthly event featuring various business topics such as marketing strategies, business loans, permits, taxes, etc. Updates will be posted on the City of St. James website and Facebook page.
