Located at Armstrong School is a toddler’s dream! Bring your tots to Toddler’s Town for a fun day of outdoor play. This specialty playground offers a safe and family-friendly environment for children ages 0-5. In addition to a performance stage, slides, and climbing equipment, a mock city-street experience allows toddlers to ride their tricycles around and their imaginations will run wild. Please note that this is on Public School property, therefore smoking, vaping, cannabis use and alcohol is not allowed at this location.
Eagle’s Nest County Park

Eagle’s Nest Park lies along the south fork of the Watonwan River, in one of the most wooded and scenic areas within Watonwan County. This 80-acre park features 1.25 miles of hiking trails which double as horseback riding trails. Amenities include an open-air picnic shelter, charcoal grills, picnic tables, and a comfort station with showers. Pitch a tent at one of the four electrical service campground sites and stay for the weekend.

Directions: Take State Highway 60 to Watonwan County Road 118 (which is approx. 9 miles west of Madelia or 6 miles east of St. James), proceed north on County Road 118 approximately 1 mile to park entrance (on left). There is brown signage for “Eagle’s Nest Park” on Highway 60.
